I purchased an eye shadow palette from the new Spring 2015 Tarte makeup line. It is called the Tartelette palette. It is an all matte eye shadow palette. It has 12 matte eye shadows. Ranging from light to dark colors. I have used 4 shades out of the 12 in the palette. I was impressed with the quality, pigmentation and ease of blending. This palette while on the pricey side $44.00, is a must have for matte lovers. I am always on the lookout for good quality matte eye shadows. ♥Stacey

MAC Cosmetics Holiday Collection for 2014
I am underwhelmed with this collection this holiday season. I picked up some Heirloom Mix pressed pigments and so far they are just ok. The one shadow Noble Descent(Frost) is described as a pearly smokey mauve, It applied more pearly with a hint of duochrome. It was very sheer with a lot of glitter flecks. I had to build the color up and in doing so, it created major glitter fall-out. It lasted about 4-6 hours on my eyelids with a eye primer and paint pot underneath the shadow. I will be testing out the second shade I have this week, Enchantment. I hope it has better results. I'm thinking I may return the noble descent shade, as I have colourpop shadows that perform better and only cost $5.00 a shadow.
I also purchased one blush offered in this collection, Modest Blush. It resembles the color of a blush I have that was from a limited edition summer collection. That blush was called Fleet Fast, and I adore it. This Modest blush is described as a light baby salmon pink. It will be interesting to see the pigmentation and lasting ability. I will compare the two blushes and see if they are close in color.
I have looked at the Keepsakes Collection and so far nothing has stood out to me, that I really would like to own. I may change my mind if MAC releases other holiday items. Let me know what you would like to purchase from the collection or have purchased from the collection. ♥ Stacey

Recipes I'm Tasting
Ultimate Cheese Crust Pizza
Ingredients:
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 C shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 T grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil
- Dash of salt (1/8 tsp.)
- 2 eggs
- Desired toppings (more shredded mozzarella, tomato sauce, vegetables, meats, etc.)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and place a nonstick liner on a cookie sheet or pizza pan (or grease very well).
2. In a medium bowl, combine together mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, basil, salt and eggs. Stir very well with a sturdy spoon for at least a full minute until everything is mixed well and the eggs are broken down and evenly distributed.
3. Use a sheet of plastic wrap to press the dough down evenly into your pan (I used a freehand style right in the center of a large cookie sheet). Place into the oven on the center rack and allow to bake for about 20 minutes or until the edges are deep golden brown and the center is a light golden brown. The center should be firm and should not jiggle at all but shouldn't be too brown.
4. Turn the oven temperature up to 400 degrees. Allow the crust to cool slightly before attempting to move it (about 10 minutes). Remove the crust and place it onto a metal rack and set it back on the pan (this is optional, as you can set it right back on the pan-- but I feel this makes the crust crispier.
5. Top the pizza crust as you desire and place back into the oven for approximately 10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and melted. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Enjoy!
Entire crust has just 8g net carbs. Crust should feed 2-4 people depending on their appetites.
